E-Enterprise topics figured prominently in the ECOS 2019 State Environmental Protection (STEP) Meeting convened in July in Washington, DC. The meeting, From the Flintstones to the Jetsons: How Technology is Transforming Environmental Protection, brought together state, federal, industry, and nonprofit environmental professionals for a look at use of innovative technologies that can help them tackle regulatory challenges.
During one panel discussion, E-Enterprise Leadership Council member Victoria Phillips of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection shared how states can adopt cutting-edge technologies and processes through E-Enterprise to maximize environmental results. Kristen Benedict of EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation also shed light on E-Enterprise’s Advanced Monitoring Project.
Other E-Enterprise representatives attended the meeting to educate attendees about E-Enterprise tools and resources. The meeting included exhibit tables that highlighted E-Enterprise projects and work to implement a digital strategy that coordinates investments in technological transformation.
