For complex Clean Air Act rules, the regulated community and government agencies require assistance in understanding specific rule applicability and requirements.
As part of an E-Enterprise initiative, EPA developed a suite of online Regulation Navigation (Reg Nav) tools to help owners and operators of facilities in certain industries easily determine the requirements of specific regulations online. Building on work from Texas, EPA has made available the latest Reg Nav tool, designed for owners and operators of Municipal Solid Waste Landfills. The new feature, along with four previous tools created for five other air quality regulations, uses online, interactive software programs that help users determine their personalized air quality regulatory requirements by answering questions about their facilities.
