Environmental agencies around the country are turning to the E-Enterprise Community Inventory Platform (EECIP) to share their know-how and experience. EECIP has four main cornerstones — enter information, solve problems, save time and money, and build community. Recently, the EECIP team has made great strides in communicating the benefits of the platform, having presented live demos to the:
- Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals
- Association of State & Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials
- Association of Air Pollution Control Agencies; and
- E-Enterprise Regional Coordinators.
The EECIP team invites others to request an EECIP briefing and presentation. If you are interested, please contact Paulina Lopez-Santos of ECOS.
To incentivize use of the site, EECIP occasionally hosts competitions among users. On Earth Day, EECIP encouraged users to engage in various activities including responding to a discussion thread, posting a new question or event, or adding or updating a project. Warren Angell of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and Cassandra Meyer of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency landed on the leaderboard and were rewarded with this creative tune by songwriter Mike Morris of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality.
Joining EECIP takes just a few clicks, and account approval is automatic for most users. Sign up or log in today to start making connections! For more information, contact Paulina Lopez-Santos of ECOS. |
